Very good Laptop
By Jerrinho
Ok so this is what I wanted from this laptop:Being able to play certain games with acceptable graphics (TF 2 atm)Easy handling (i.e. big screen, easy typing, good touchpad)Being able to watch movies on high quality (not necessarily 1080p, but 720p would be nice)This laptop at 850$ after taxes at Best Buy was in my price range and it had pretty good reviews (the dv7-series did)Anyways I got it and so far I'm very impressed. The sound is great (they keep saying BeatsAudio this BeatsAudio that, but if you listen to anything for the first time and you have any sense for sounds, this is pretty great..so I guess it's fair enough that they make such a big fuss about it :D)The screen is very nice. It's big, bright and detailed.Keyboard and Touchpad are great too. There is a little space between each of the letters, so if you type more or less blindly, this is pretty awesome, because you hit a lot less wrong letters all in all I reckon.I also don't think it's too heavy considering it's a 17.3" screen.Design is very neat and easy. The touchpad has a little light around it, which looks cool and so does the HP-logo on the back. The only reasons why I only give this laptop 4 stars are:HP always comes with trashware. A lot of trashware. I am regularly using HP-laptops and this has always been an issue, so I am really annoyed. This isn't really a reason to deduct a star, as this is a great laptop, but I think HP has to fix that issue, because all these programs really slow the PC down and take away space. The battery is a bit weird when you have this thing on your knees, but if you put it on the table it's actually awesome, because the keyboard is slightly tilted. So a this is a bit of a 50-50 thing. Also a small thing, even after deleting all the trashware, the startup still is a bit slow considering I have pretty much nothing on here yet and it is Windows 7.Anyways..if you got to read this review, I'm telling you: buy this laptop, because it is awesome.

Great PC
By F. Minhaj
Overall a really good computer. I've had it for about three months now and have very few complaints. The beats audio is amazing, any headphone/speaker connected to it sounds ten times better then my older pc. The finger print scanner is really cool and works well with storing passwords, but it doesn't work with firefox, only IE and Chrome. Battery life on this is amazing, i had it on high performance and it ran for about 8.5 hours (4 of which were me playing games on it). also another flaw is that the keyboard is not lit. not something major, i hardly ever notice it, but if you plan on using it in a dark room a lot, it'll get annoying. but the keyboard itself is very nice. it has a good amount of space in between keys so you cant tell the keys apart.Pros.Large screenHDMI portFinger Print scannerCameraCons.Keyboard isn't lit upScanner doesnt work for firefoxExtended battery kinda hurts your legs after a while of it being on your lap
