I bought this a couple weeks ago at a Fry's in-store special for $499 and I'm still amazed at the deal this is.I wasn't ready to buy a laptop until tax time next year, but when I saw the features for the price I couldn't resist.Intel i5-2410m processor, 640GB hard drive, express card slot for USB 3.0 or Firewire, 4GB ram, VGA & HDMI, Intel WIDI wireless display to TV, bluetooth, and to top it all off, Blue-ray.What's really impressive is the overall speed. Everything seems instantaneous. The internet over DSL appears twice as fast since the pages render so fast with this processor.The battery is really tiny (which makes the laptop very light compared to my old Dell), but still lasts 4+ hours browsing the internet. The keyboard is pretty solid, doesn't flex too much. The touchpad software isn't great, but works OK after I adjusted the settings. Not as smooth as my old Dell though.Cons....Well, the lacquer piano like finish is a fingerprint magnet, the speakers are really small and tinny sounding, the connectors are all on the sides near the front, so hooking up a printer means cables show, and the screen is a little washed out, but got better when I tweaked the settings.Some things I really appreciated...The hard drive was partitioned, and the boot-up procedure allows a memory diagnostic to be run. Although no OS disks were included, there is a great backup program to generate a C drive image that can be burned to disks, or stored on the D partition.The included software works well, and the anti-virus was easy to un-install (I use free Avast anti-virus and Malwarebytes anti-spyware).Over-all, I'd buy this again in a heartbeat for $499. Even $599 is a deal.

I like Fujitsu so much! This is my third laptop in 8 years. Made in China now. ( used to be made in Japan) It is reasonable price with Core i5. The screen is good to view.I bought that one year ago Nov 2011.Dec 4, 2012: NO sounds already. Internal speaker does NOT work.NO GOOD!!!

window experience index. 5.9 min --ratings are from 3-7.9)processor 6.9ram 5.9 (before upgrade)gaming graphic 6.2hard drive 5.9Bought it for $500, and no issues yet.pro's: runs smooth, fast,,quite. full keyboard. sleek design. user friendly mouse pad. i like the fact that all inputs are on the side of laptop. quality screen and video/blu-ray play back with Intel hd 3000. 640gb hard dive. spill resistance keyboard. comes with Fujitsu easy back up program and Cybelink programs.Con's: a little to bulky (if you are into slim). Casing kind of a finger print magnet (i don't mind, clean once a week). Speakers could be louder. Laptop could be lighter (on the positive side, it feels rigid).over all i would recommend it to a friend for any where under $600. Ram upgrade to 8gb is recommended (i bought a 2x4gb ram from amazon for $45).NO ISSUES YET.
